Under the provisions of Article 18 of Law no. 144/2015 of 08 September, companies that supply goods or service providers are obliged to inform the purchasers of the goods or the consumers of the services about the possibility of resolution of a possible litigation by the so-called ADR entities (Alternative Dispute Resolution). This obligation entered into force on March 23, 2016, and also only on this date the Consumer General Directorate announced the list of existing and legally authorized ADR entities.
In case of consumer disputes, the consumer may use the European Online Dispute Settlement Platform, available at http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr or to the following alternative dispute resolution entities:
