Under the provisions of Article 18 of Law no. 144/2015, of 08 September, companies supplying goods or providing services are obliged to inform the purchasers of goods or consumers of services about the possibility of resolving any disputes by the so-called ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution) entities. This obligation came into force on 23 March 2016, and it was only on this date that the Directorate-General for the Consumer also published the list of existing and legally authorized ADR entities.
In case of a consumer dispute, the consumer can turn to the European Online Dispute Resolution platform available at http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr or to the following alternative consumer dispute resolution entities:
